Wild Colour Cards produced with naturally foraged inks. Our inks tell the story of the land through colour. Like the moor itself, these colours are alive – they'll subtly shift and change over time, making each card a living artwork that evolves with the passing seasons.
The pattern on these cards are evocative of nebulae, galaxies, and far-away places. The base materials for each set of four cards is the same (for example, beech, copper, and iron); however, the patterns will never be identical.
We practice careful stewardship in our foraging, harvesting only from abundant sources and working with what the landscape offers freely. Each card is letterpress printed in our Dartmoor workshop on recycled British paper, marrying traditional craftsmanship with experimental natural processes.
The cards are left blank inside and are perfectly sized for framing as small artworks. Ideal for those who appreciate the intersection of artisanal craft and natural materials, these cards speak to both printmaker and nature lover alike.
Sets include four unique A6 cards with envelopes, £20 per set.
The backs are letterpress printed with details on the process. Each card is individually marked with its natural ingredients, allowing you to trace its origins back to the moorland, woodland, and hedgerow plants that created its unique colours.
