• Notebook size: 120mm x 205mm - perfect for field work and desk use - (it's a little narrower than an A5 spiral notebook)
  
• Cover details: Hand printed in our Dartmoor studio with vintage wood and metal type.
  
• Pages: 104 pages (52 sheets) of FSC-mixed recycled paper made in England from take-away coffee cups. A lovely 120gsm paper with a bit of texture. Special first page to overcome blank page anxiety; final page describes our process (hand-set in metal type, and hand-printed, of course).
  
• Front cover: 380gsm FSC-mixed recycled card, made in England from take-away coffee cups.
  
• Back cover: sturdy dark grey backing board (1250 microns); recycled, and made in the UK.
  
• Sustainability: UK-made FSC-certified recycled paper for the cover and inside pages (low carbon footprint). Plastic-free, glue-free binding that can be entirely recycled through home recycling pickup. Assembled entirely by hand (hand printed, hand bound, hand trimmed on vintage tools without the aid of electric machines).
  
• Colours: Devon Green, Gorse Yellow, Flint Black-on-Black, and Flint with white (for those who prefer jam on first)

Every Acorn & Mire notebook supports UK paper mills and traditional craftsmanship. A portion of sales goes to forest, hedgerow, and peatland regeneration projects. Each journal is printed using heritage letterpress techniques in our Devon studio, offering an authentic alternative to mass-produced stationery.
